Installing on Oil Based Paint

Oil based paint is not an ideal surface for Uppercase Living decorative lettering. With persistence you can get our lettering to adhere to a wall painted with oil based paint. To do so, complete steps 1 – 5 of our regular installation instructions. As you slowly remove the transfer tape (step 6), manually peel and press each letter onto the wall with your fingers.
